I am sending e-mails

I was sending e-mails

I will be sending e-mails

I have sent e-mails

I have been sending e-mails

We have two grammatical voices, so to speak: ‘Active’ and ‘Passive’

‘Active’ is when a SUBJECT does an ACTION on an       OBJECT, for example: PETER DRIVES A CAR

‘Passive’ is when an OBJECT is subjected to an ACTION by a SUBJECT, for example: A CAR IS DRIVEN BY PETER

Here we see the difference between languages. Some structures work in some languages and don’t work in other languages.
